Today we look at an interesting monster from the Koa'ki Meiru series. Koa'ki Meiru Tornado is actually one of the more interesting monsters from this series because its basically the Koa'ki Meiru version of Jowgen the Spiritualist, just with a different cost and it only affects your opponents montsers and the fact that it doesn't negate players from special summoning. But have you noticed anything else? Koa'ki Meiru Tornado, unlike pretty much all(I haven't looked at all of the Koa'ki Meiru monsters so im not entirely sure) Koa'ki Meiru monsters, Tornado doesn't have to reveal a monster or send an Iron Core to the graveyard. I've had some decent deck ideas based on Koa'ki Meiru Guardian, Koa'ki Meiru Boulder, Koa'ki Meiru Tornado and so forth, building something that could combat the format, which I honestly see possible. There is a lot of Iron Core support that only requires you to reveal Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru in your hand. For example, Reckoned Power reveals an Iron Core in hand to destroy all face-down Spell and Traps your opponent controls. I'd say thats pretty amazing. Iron Core Luster is basically a Dark Bribe that requires you to reveal Iron Core. With cards like this and Tornado, Guardian and so on, Koa'ki Meiru decks can be used in a few different ways. Koa'ki Meiru Tornado I see being a possible card in a Koa'ki Meiru Anti-Meta/Beat deck. The only thing its lacking is a high attack, 1500 is easy to get over so protect it as best you can.
