XX-Saber Gottoms closes out the week, a heavy
hitting big Synchro monster for X Saber players,
being Level 9 and of the Erath attribute with 3100
attack, which is in credible and 2600 defense.
XX-Saber Gottoms is Synchro Summoned with a Tuner
and one or more Earth monsters.
Specifically requiring an Earth monster can hurt,
but it shouldn't hurt your typical X Saber player.
For the effect, you can tribute one X-Saber monster
to discard one random card from your opponent's
Hand.
Really, you're playing this guy for attack power.
3100 is incredible, and takes out pretty much
everything ,but the tributing a monster just for a
discard is pretty random I think. You should be able
to discard a monster or something, as opposed to
tributing.

XX-Saber Gottoms ...
The 1st level 9 Synchro?
Well it was bound to happen!!
It's not the most UN-Sychro-able monster, as it
doesnt have such tight restrictions as ... say ...
Trident Dragon ... which was level 10, and not un-Synchro-able
either (u should know now that "un-Synchro-able" is
not an actual word) ... but ... I ... I forget the
point that I was making ...
Anywho ... Gottoms ... 3100 ATK. Kewl. He'll punch
through just about any other big monster out there -
Synchro, or otherwise - in a fair 1-on-1. Can't hate
that! And then his effect? - Awesome. Assuming u are
playing X-Sabers, which u may as WELL be, when u are
using him, u can COMPLETELY cripple your opponent,
especially since the only limit to how often u can
use this effect is on how many X-Sabers u are
holding.
... And the picture is BAD-ASS!!!!

We're ending this week
with a new monster in the X-Saber series, their
newest Synchro monster XX-Saber Gottoms. Now
honestly I dont know what to really say about this
card. Its a level 9 Synchro monster that requires a
tuner with 1 or more Earth monsters. Now this makes
things somewhat difficult, but since you are allowed
to use any tuner it makes things a little less
difficult. Most people would use Emergency Teleport
and cards like Rose, Warrior of Revenge to make the
summon of this card more simple. Now there is
somewhat of an easier way to summon it. One for One
or Emergency Teleport to search out Mind Master and
then simply tune Mind Master with a level 8 Earth
monster, and there you go. Personally this card
doesn't seem worth the trouble of summoning it.
While its effect and stats are rather decent, it
generally only fits into its own deck and is still
rather difficult to summon. Its a decent card for
X-Saber decks but outside of that the card isn't all
that useful. Its ability to discard a card at random
is a good one so long as you have an "infinite"
tribute fodder for his effect, like Black Ptera,
which I dont think the X-Sabers have, at least yet.
So its a cool looking card, decent stats and effect
but is still a pain to get out.
Basically if you’re playing X-Sabers, run multiple
copies. If you’re not, don’t. :P. You can also use
this guy in a non X-Saber deck if you’re playing
EARTH decks.
