Solemn Warning, a card that is very similar to
Solemn Judgement, but I personally don't care for as
much. Why? Solemn Judgement could have a larger cost
(half your Lifepoints versus 2000) while this card
is always 2000.
One immediately negative is the fact that you
wouldn't necessarily be able to play this card
whenever you wanted or needed to, as you can with
Judgement. Secondly, while Solemn Judgement negates
everything, Warning only negates Monster summons.
Well, Monster summons and any other card or
effect of a Monster that Special Summon a
Monster(s), and destroys the card in question. The
card isn't bad, not at all, but I would stick with
your Solemn Judgement and Dark Bribe...I even like
My Body as a Shield Better than this...
Ratings:
3/5 both Formats...some people will and are
playing it, but average seems pretty accurate for
reasons listed above.
Art: 5/5 like Judgement, but I actually like this
a bit better I think
:)

Solemn Warning …
This falls into the “It’s not ‘crap’, but still –
WHY!?!?” category.
Without giving this card much more airtime than it
deserves – plainly speaking – we have Solemn
Judgment, which does everything this card does and
much much more. In a few instances – S-Warning may
be CHEAPER to pay for (2000 LP) than S-Judgment (few
people enjoy paying half their LP very early in the
game), but it’s effect is only limited to stopping
special summons via spell, trap, or monster, while
S-Judgment will stop ANY summons and ANY spell or
trap. Plus, even though it’s half your LP, u can
always pay for it with Judgment, no matter how few
LP u have left. That being said, if u want added
supplements to your S-Judgment – u play Dark Bribes.
Easy.
S-Warning isn’t “bad”, but it’s pretty situational,
and we’ve already been using things that are far
superior.
Traditional: 1.5/5
Advanced: 2/5

Today, God is getting back together with his
girls for another round of effect negating and other
things Pojo won't let me say on a CotD review. Right
before I saw this card, I was thinking, "Oh, I wish
there was a way for me to stop any summon I want,
but not have to use Royal Oppression!" Right after I
prayed to God, he made himself appear on another
card. This card is Solemn Warning, and this card is
awesome.
While Black Horn of Heaven can only hit Synchro
Summons and summons of cards like Dark Armed Dragon
or Cyber Dragon, this even stops Rekindling swarms,
Call of the Haunted or other things my headache
won't tell me right now. Being able to use the
control power of Royal Oppression without its
downsides is just awesome, and I wish this card had
stayed a common, but TCG players can't have nice
things.
4.5/5
Art: Ms. Right is pleading to God to choose her over
Ms. Left.
Fun Fact: Roombas and dogs usually don't mix. On the
other hand, Weasel Balls go great with anything.
Tomorrow: I chose the CotD's this week. You know the
last card is going to be something good.

Solemn Warning
Solemn Warning is a very much talked about Counter
Trap from Duelist Revolution. For a hefty cost of
2000 Life Points, you can negate any Special Summon,
or effect of a card which would Special Summon.
You may be noticing, Solemn Warning is essentially a
Counter Trap version of Royal Oppression. So, let's
compare them.
Solemn Warning beats Royal Oppression in a number of
ways. First, your opponent can't respond with Dust
Tornado or Mystical Space Typhoon to just stop the
effect. Second, being a Counter Trap, you can also
activate Solemn Warning during the Damge Step,
stopping a lot of monsters Oppression is useless
against. Recruiters and Gorz are especially useful
to stop. Third, your opponent cannot use your own
Solemn Warning against you like Oppression.
Oppression does still have some significant
advantages. Since it's Continuous, it will stick
around to negate multiple cards. Also, 800 Life
Points is much easier to work with than 2000.
Many decks like X-Sabers, Synchro Cat, or Disaster
Dragon are maining Royal Oppression to be able to
lock the opponent down after their own Special
Summons. This can sometimes be counter-productive,
though, and slow themselves down too. In decks like
these, Solemn Warning may be a good choice to
replace the Oppressions already being used. Decks
like Blackwings or Anti-Meta are mostly better off
sticking with what they've got.
Traditional: 3.5/5 Could make a good impact here.
Advanced: 4.2/5 Very powerful here, expect this card
to make an impact at a tournament near you.
Art: Why do Moses's cards always cost so many Life
Points?
