Thursday
Really short today, as there's not much to discuss
here. Tuning, which for some reason shows a
lady playing a Harp, possibly Spirit of the Harp?
Add a Synchron Tuner monster from your Deck to your
Hand, then send the top card from yoru Deck to the
Graveyard.
It's a very simple one for two, technically, this
card, plus the mill, for the Synchron Tuner.
Of course, it adds speed, and likely advantage, for
said Synchro, etc.

Tuning ...
U know I like simplicity. So … hmmm … a normal spell
card that thins your deck twice over and makes a
fast and powerful deck even faster? … Cha! How good
do u THINK this card is?!?
(in case u are unable to recognize sarcasm when I
throw it, Tuning is VERY good)
These days milling cards off the top is more an
extra added effect than a cost, and can be combined
with various other tricks that I’m not even gonna
begin to get into. And all for the luxury of getting
any Synchro tuner from your deck that u want.
Yeah. Easy.

Today's card is Tuning! You didn't know that, did
you? I bet you also didn't know that it searches for
Synchron Tuners (which means no Explorer Synchron,
which means no fun allowed). Should you use it,
though?
Probably not.
Most Quickdraw decks will use two Quickdraw
Synchrons. If two Quickdraws isn't enough for you,
you use one Tuning. If you STILL need more
Quickdraws, there's something wrong with you. But if
you're using Quickdraw Synchron and also Junk
Synchron, meaning you're thinking about your
Volcanic Quickdraw deck right now, then you should
most definitely be using one or two Tunings.
That's really it. You'd want to think this card is
crazy flexible and fast, but it's not. Also, notice
how I haven't said anything about the one-card mill.
That's probably because it's just a one-card mill,
and it will very rarely knock off something useful.
I'm looking at you, idiot who thought Hidden Armory/Naturia
Butterfly would be good in Lightsworn. One-card
milling might as well not be there. It's just a
little bonus for Volcanic Quickdraw.
4/5 . . . in Volcanic Quickdraw, which is its only
home other than crazy Junk/Debris.
Art: Spirit of the Harp be uppin' her game.
Fun Fact: You know who else plays a harp? Golden
Sun. You should get Golden Sun: Dark Dawn.
Tomorrow: Another one of those guys with crotch
armor.

Hey Pojo, Pheano here with another Card Of The
Day For you.
Today we will be taking a look at a highly
anticipated Ultra Rare from Starstrike Blast,
Tuning. Tuning is a Normal Spell that lets you Add 1
"Synchron" Tuner monster from your Deck to your
hand. Then send the top card of your Deck to the
Graveyard.
Let me just start by saying that this is a really
great card, if Charge Of The Light Brigade and
Reinforcement Of The Army has taught us anything it
is that searching and milling is good. You get to
search for of the key cards of your deck like
Quickdraw Synchron in a Plant Synchro deck and then
get to send one card from the top of your deck to
the Graveyard (otherwise known as milling). One of
the great things about this card is that you can
gain so much free advantage of the milling part of
its effect. There are so many cards that you can
send for the potential “plus”, for example;
Dandylion, Glow-Up Blub, Spore, or a fifth Monster
for a Pot Of Avarice. In a deck that already loves
to mill cards from their own deck for “pluses” and
the deck’s only real problem being its occasional
bad hand a card that mills and adds consistency is a
welcome addition to the team.
One other notable mention for this card is that it
can be used in a Dark Synchro decks since you can
load your grave with Dark Monsters for your Dark
Armed Dragon and targets for you to bring back with
the Junk Synchron that you will be searching.
In the Traditional Format this card will not see
much play seeing as not Traditional Format decks
have little to do with Synchron Monsters and are
more worried about FTK combos.
Bottom line:
This card is quality support for the ever-popular
Plant decks.
Advanced: 3/5
Traditional: 1/5
Hit me up on Pojo or Youtube (pheanoblack) if you
have any comments or questions, I’m always open to
constructive criticism.

Tuning, Konami’s sick way of improving the
quickdraw deck. First of all, it is a spell which
gives it some advantages. Next, add a synchron
monster to your hand. Quickdraw *cough* *cough*.
Having that ability is like getting a free summon of
drill warrior or nitro warrior, etc. Then after
that, you mill one card from the top of your deck.
That makes this card even better. If you mill dandy,
that sets up for another combo. I can’t see the
downside of this card.
Traditional: 4.0
Advanced: 4.5

The
Crowing |
One of the money cards from starstrike blast.
Tuning is a normal spell card. You send a card from
the top of your deck to the grave and add a synchron
monster from your deck to your hand.
So, its ROTA for Synchrons, not bad. Chances are you
are searching either Junk or Quickdraw Synchron,
since all the rest are horrible.
Relatively simple card, but great effect nontheless.
Traditional-1/5
Advanced-4/5 (Synchron Decks only)
Art- Not a very subtle pun.
