Mirror of the Ice Barrier--a very interesting Quickplay Magic card, with lots of printed text.  First, aren't the Ice Barrier cards more about recycling or sending things to the Graveyard than removing things?  That being said, as this doesn't directly tie in to any specific Ice Barrier monster or card, it's playability goes up.

In short, when you activate this card, any place your opponent tries to remove a card from, being your Hand, Graveyard, or side of the Field, (via an Effect Monster) you remove two cards from the place in question.  If it's Hand, you remove up to two cards from their Hand.

If it's a card you control, you remove up to two cards your opponent controls, and if it's from your Graveyard, remove up to two cards from their Graveyard.  This can be quite the Tech card, especially in Traditional, against something like Chaos, if only being temporary.  Removing cards is fun, especially the more disruptive it is.

In keeping with our wintery theme, we have Mirror of the Ice Barrier. It’s a quick-play spell with a Bible text effect. I won’t repeat it here, but essentially, it allows you to remove your opponent’s stuff from play when he/she attempts to remove your stuff. Since it’s quick-play, you can use it on your opponent’s turn, and I believe that if you chain this card to a card that removes thingy, you will get its effect, since the original card activates, then Mirror is chained, Mirror resolves, the original card resolves and your card(s) are removed, which triggers the effect of the already played Mirror. I’m not too sure, might want to get a ruling on that. This card could be a potential side against the odd D.D. deck, but its downfall is that it doesn’t stop your stuff from getting removed. Also, it only works if the removal is due to a monster effect, which means it won’t work on things getting removed by Crevice. All in all, not too special of a card.
