Junk Archer …

This guy is OH so close to being pretty aight … But he just lets it get away from him. 2300 ATK on a Synchro isn’t great, but isn’t bad … until u see that it’s a level 7 … that’s when your bowels start to hurt again. He has an awesome Chaos Sorcerer type effect where he can remove an opponent monster from play … and it doesn’t have to be face-up, and he can still ATTACK! … Awesome, right? … Until u see that monster comes back again, which … ain’t so great. Sure – u can move something big out of the way, shoot directly, and finish the game (ideally), but if u can’t – would it be worth it? … And then lastly – what could make or break the card – sway your decision one way or another – u see that he has REQUIRED synchro material in the form of the Junk Synchron Tuner monster.
LAME!
For everything good about him, there is something else that just makes u saw “ewww…”
Had Junk Archer been level 5 … or permanently removed the monster … or been able to be synchro’d with ANYTHING, perhaps I could NOT hate the idea of running just 1 in you extra deck, but now? …
Nope. He CAN be ok, but falls just shy of being average.

Cool picture though.

Junk Archer, another newly released card, and is actually a really really good card. Junk Synchron and a non-Tuner monster is needed, and its a level seven Synchro monster. Well considering every deck runs level four monsters, it gives Junk Synchron more possibilities. Junk Synchron alone can synchro summon a lot of monsters. Examples are Magical Android, Ally of Justice Catastor, Junk Archer and Black Rose Dragon. But I guess we're not looking at Junk Synchron, but one of his Synchro Monsters, since he's needed for Junk Warrior as well. Junk Archer is similar to Destiny Hero - Doom Lord. You can select a monster on your opponent's side of the field and its removed from play. Difference from Doom Lord is that the monster Junk Archer removes from play comes back during the End Phase, where as Doom Lord forces the opponent to wait two turns. Junk Archer also obviously has more attack points. I think using at least one of these in your Extra Deck wouldn't be a bad idea, considering it can remove an obsticle for the turn. Only problem is if you can't stop the opponent afterwards, but a lot of people run Book of Moon and various other cards to help with that problem. Being able to remove cards like Stardust Dragon or Blackwing Armor Master from the field also can prove to be a big help too, since they are hard to get around unless you have obvious cards like Dark Armed Dragon or Chaos Sorcerer. Another thing I just remembered, unlike Chaos Sorcerer and Doom Lord is that Junk Archer doesn't prevent you or itself from attacking, yet it has the same stats as Chaos Sorcerer.
