Infernity Beetle
There's really not much to say about Infernity
Beetle. I think it basically renders Infernity
Avenger obsolete (other than nifty looping tricks).
I want to reprint part of a post I made showing the
possible boards with Avenger + Beetle versus just
Beetle. It was done roughly (and is the board that
Lazaro Bellido, Dale Bellido, and Matt Peddle tend
to make) so if you can find a better board with
Avenger, let me know.
Scenario 1 with Avenger and Beetle available:
Final board= Hundred Eyes, Stardust, Doom Dragon,
Archfiend, double Barrier set. This combination
likely does not have game next turn. Brionac/Stardust
are really the key cards and every level 8 after
Stardust is unnecessary.
Scenario 2 with only Beetle:
Final board= Mist Wurm, Brionac, Stardust,
Archfiend, Necro in defense with double barrier.
This combination likely has game against almost
every possible hand combination next turn.
Infernity Beetle is staple. Every deck should run
three. It's also well-designed (not overpowered).

Infernity Beetle …
I hate bugs. I do. But in this game, some of them
are pretty cool. And the newest, coolest one to join
the fray is part of the Infernity Inner Circle, and
is already one of the best Tuners in the game. No
cards in hand – u can tribute this from the field to
special summon up to 2 more from your deck. If you
had an empty field to attack into, what would have
been a 1200 direct attack is now a 2400 LP gut punch
to your opponent.
It’s dark like all Infernities, and 0 DEF, which is
fine. Its stats are low enough to be rescued from
the grave, if need be, by Recurring Nightmare and
Dark Erruption. And, oh yeah … did I mention it was
a Tuner? … Yeah. That’s what makes it the key piece
of the Infernity Death Circle. 1 becomes 2. And the
2 are used to tune with whatever 2 Infernity
monsters are already on the field, creating Synchro
monsters galore. Wash (Launcher), Rinse (Archfiend),
Repeat (Necromancer). Clear your opponent’s field,
and swarm with as many Synchros u need to finish the
job. Once the cycle begins, there are only a very
small handful of well timed cards that can pull ur
opponent’s butt out of it.
And I’m sure I don’t need to tell u, but yes … u
play 3 of them.

Infernity Beetle
is an important part of
Infernity decks, being one of
their own Tuners.
If your hand is empty, you
can sack one to bring up to two more
from your deck.
Slight rub there: they
have to be from your deck, so
you can’t yank them from hand.
Still, even if it’s just
blowing itself up for another copy,
that thins your deck, and we looked
at a card yesterday that can make
use of two in your discard pile, so
all it not lost.
It’s also handy just for
being an Insect Tuner, should you
want to run a
Spiders deck, for example.
Infernity Beetle is also a tad
larger than our last two reviews:
Level 2 (which improves odds of
getting a good Synchro) and while it
keeps that useful 0 DEF (again,
Recurring Nightmare if you
skipped the previous reviews this
week), the 1200 ATK is a bit larger
and that can help if you just need
to hit hard against an empty field.
Pretty good card: a must for
Infernity at three and even
useful for a few non-Infernity
decks (mostly Insect like
Spiders decks).
So if you have been reading
the last two days, take note that
this card gets an honest, general
rating.

Infernity Beetle is a part of the infamous Infernity
loop. Hell, this card is great even if you don't
have the loop going. It's like Deep Sea Diva, but
both monsters will be in defense position (just in
case something happens to what you wanted to tune
with) and you even get to thin out your deck by 2
cards. This is like going double Lonefire into
Tytannial for Infernities, only your Lonefire
Blossom is being summoned like Sparkman in a deck
full of Oversouls, Birthrights and other fun
friends.
Simply summon Archfiend through whatever, get your
Mirages or Necromancers blasting, and you can pull
this guy out. Then you summon out two other Beetles
and make two amazing Synchros. This is another part
of the Infernity loop, and no matter what you do
with it, it's insane.
5/5
Art: Eewww, I hate bugs.
Fun Fact: If you found the Pokemon reference in my
last review, you win the game.
