Infernity Break ...
Freeza likes Infernity Break. Simple enough - No
cards in hand, remove an Infernity Card in your
grave from play to destroy 1 card on the field. It
can be a monster, a spell, or a trap - so long as it
has the word Infernity in it. So use that Mirage
that can't come out of the grave anymore. Or use
that spent Launcher. Hell, after u've spent all 3
Launchers and Archfiend comes out again, use his
ability to grab an Infernity Break to set as extra
added insurance for next turn, in case u can't
finish your opponent off this one.
It deals with stuff like Royal Oppression and
Dimensional Fissure which can generally be a pain
for Infernity players ... It's basically a Raigeki
Break for the Infernity deck, when u dont have
anything in hand to discard.
If u've got the room in your deck - go for it. If u
don't have the room ... well, ... I'd recommend
making space for at least 1 of these. It'll rarely
disappoint.

Infernity Break:
Hey! What do ya know? An infernity card
that isn't broken! But seriously this is a
well balanced card for infernities, just over
shadowed by all the other incredibly over-powered
combos they have at their disposal. The best
thing about this card is it allows the used to
remove any infernity card from their graveyard to
use the effect. So you could remove infernity
s/t instead of your monsters, in case you have plans
for them a bit later. The other plus is that
it can destroy any card of your opponents, and isnt
just limited to s/ts or monsters... which is one of
the abilities that makes Ryko as splashable as he
is. This card won't see much play unless the
main infernity combos are broken up somehow by the
next list, and lets be honest, if that happens,
infernities will see the trade binder or start
collecting dust on a shelf somewhere before people
start trying to use them as a non-otk deck. So
is this a good card? I've seen worse, that's
for sure. Will it be looked over? You
betcha. In my personal opinion, this card
should have been a spell.

Infernity Break
Infernity Break is an interesting card. I was
testing a version of a removed from play Infernity
side-deck that focused on Infernity Archfiend,
Escape from the Different Dimension, and Infernity
Break. I showed it to some members of Team Canada
and they had a few unsleeved copies of the card
tested too!
I ended up scrapping the idea because it was
inconsistent. However, I think Break does create
tantalizing possibilities for a duelist to end up
using that type of conversion side-deck. I did not
have enough time to test it myself.
By its versatile nature, I think Break is a lot
better in the side-deck than the main. It does not
have much going for it over other cards such as Dust
Tornado with the presence of Mist Wurm anyways
unless you are going to focus on the removed from
play aspect, in my opinion.

Continuing Infernity Week 20, we have Infernity
Break. The Infernity version of Raigeki Break lets
you remove an Infernity in the graveyard when your
hand is empty. Raigeki Break is better than this
because you need those Infernities, and Raigeki
Break is less situational and lets you get your hand
empty with Infernities in the grave. Phoenix Wing
Wind Blast does this as well, and slows the opponent
down. It's a little depressing when themed versions
of off-theme cards are worse, even in the theme's
own deck.
2/5
Art: Is he being broken?
Fun Fact: Infernities don't need this because
they're already broken! Wahahaha!
Tomorrow: Funny looking guy gets to be on his own
card. |
