Shield Wing ...
Er ... I don't get it. Up to twice per turn, if this
monster would be destroyed by battle, it is not
destroyed ... Fine. That's an OK wall ...
there are better monsters that do the exact same
thing but can't be destroyed at ALL by battle ... so
why THIS? ... It's wind ... ok, so what? ... It's 2
stars ... again - who cares? ... and it's got no
ATK. ... So basically its just short of crap. It's a
Winged Beast, so it can fit in with Blackwings, but
then again it's a Wind monster, not Dark, so ...
yeah. Not really ...
He's not "nothing" ... but he may as well be.

Shield Wing:
I don't see much use for this card outside of
maybe a Dark Simorgh deck, or if you really need a
card to fill up space in a stall deck. True, it
makes a nice wall without the draw back of Spirit
Reaper's target effect, but I see a lot of monster
removal being prominent in this format... so if your
opponent wants to get rid of this guy, they most
likely will be able to. Perhaps I've looked over
some combo or deck that successfully utilizes this
card, but until I find something more substantial to
do with him, this little dude goes to the
"worthless" pile.

Shield Wing
At a glance, some people may think today's card is
ridiculous. It's like Gyroid, but your opponent will
need three attacks just to bust one monster!
However, though, when you look closer, you'll see it
isn't too useful. Marshmallon and Spirit Reaper
can't be killed in battle at all, and neither can
Arcana Force 0 - The Fool. All 3 are excellent and
viable options, and you can even run a trio of
Fools.
Overall, even though this is a good card, other
cards do the job better.
2/5
Fun Fact: Debris Dragon is a younger Stardust
Dragon.
Tomorrow: Spider woman, I guess.
