Synchro Control …
Lame! So basically, for 1000 LP, u can do
essentially the same exact thing Brain Control will
allow u to do for 800 regardless of whether or not u
control a Synchro monster at the time … Ok,
obviously this is a quickplay, meaning that the only
advantage this has over Brain Control is that it can
be used defensively on your opponent’s turn, to keep
them from attacking or tributing, or … whatever. ….
Sure, that’s NICE … but it doesn’t make this worth
playing. Especially since Synchro Control can ONLY
grab Synchro monsters … if it could grab ANYTHING,
or at least not have a cost to it … I would score it
a LITTLE higher …. But … nope. It sucks.

Synchro Control:
The fact that this card is quick play makes it
side-able. I guess... But really only in a deck that
isn't planning on using many synchros (if any)
themselves. Or in a Macro Cosmos/Dimensional Fissure
deck or something. Either way, I think it's a bit
situational even in those scenarios. It's a dead
card until your opponent synchros a monster, while
Blackwings (sort of), Lightsworn, Gladiator Beasts,
Dragons and Gadgets/Machinas don't have to rely on
synchros to win; and lets face it, those are some of
the top decks right now. It would be nice to have
against the Flamvell/Cat variants I suppose, so
siding two or three of these just for that deck is
feasible to me. Who knows, maybe this will end up
being the next Mind Control of 2 formats ago. But I
doubt it.

Synchro Change
Sometimes, we'll get weaker versions of cards we
already have. This is a sad example of that. Synchro
Change is Brain Control for Synchros, with a
slightly higher cost and hugely higher requirement.
You can't have ANY Synchros, ANYWHERE, if you want
to use it, and it will only snatch Synchros. This is
a situational side deck card for bad decks. I mean,
if your deck doesn't use Synchros, that's not good.
If your deck doesn't even use Starlight Road, that's
depressing, whether you chose not to or lost the
race to Target.
1/5
Fun Fact: There's nothing fun about this card...
Tomorrow: Imagine you have some new shoes. They're
not very comfortable. They also have 50-pound
weights strapped to the bottoms. |

Synchro Control, a
"Change of Heart" for Synchro monsters that seems to
be somewhat difficult to use. You cannot activate
this card if you have a Synchro Monster on your side
of the field or in your Graveyard, which these days
seems to be rather difficult since most decks tend
to Synchro Summon rather fast. You pay 1000 life
points and take control of a face-up Synchro Monster
your opponent controls until the end phase. This has
some uses, whether it be for tribute fodder or for a
Synchro Summon of your own or stopping an attack
even, there are a few uses for it, but most people
would probably rather use Enemy Controller.
