Pot of Benevolence …

I like this card. It’s simple and useful … just like ME! … lol … well … ok, not EXACTLY like me, but I digress … Basically u can send 2 cards from either graveyard back to its owner’s deck. So either u can recycle something valuable that u lost … a spell or a trap. Or u can put a monster back that can only be special summoned from the deck. It’s nice for Lightsworns that may have milled something they would rather have drawn. And it is great OFFENSIVELY for slowing your opponent’s roll, by taking some darks out of their graveyard to shut down a D.A.D, sending a sleeping Stardust Dragon back to the deck, or just lots of other moves. It’s a bit SLOWER than D.D. Crow, but Pot o’ B carries twice the load.

Pot of Benevolence is actually a pretty cool card, it acts as a The Transmigration Prophecy, returning 2 cards from either graveyard back to the deck. Only differences are its a spell, gets removed after activation and you can only activate 1 Benevolence per turn. The good thing about Benevolence is last format it would have been useful for returning Plaguespreader Zombie, Necro Gardnas and Lightsworns/Darks to the deck to prevent Judgment Dragon/Dark Armed Dragon. The reason The Transmigration Prophecy is better is cause its a chainable card. If they activate an effect that targets a card in the graveyard, like Wulf, Zombie Master or Lumina, you can send it back to the deck and they lose its effect.

Pot of Benevolence:

Aren't there already enough cards that do similar things? This seems like a waste of a card to me. Perhaps there is some sort of VWXYZQP Dragon Tank Exodia Wagon Sheppard Herder's Rage combo that is dependent on this otherwise useless spell. Can't wait to get powned by that at my next local tourney... I'll start building my own version on yvd now... yeah, thats the ticket. But seriously, this card sucks.

What is this, I don't even...

It's like The Transmigration Prophecy, which isn't a good card already, and then they bogged it down with at least nine thousand restrictions. This card is so unbelievably awful I don't even know if I can review it. There's nothing to review, anyway. It's a card with no effect and no use. Why not use Prophecy? Why not use Pot of Avarice? Why not use Larvae Moth!? Only Konami could figure out how to make a card this bad.

1/5, the pain, the pain...
Fun Fact: Because Konami.
(The day after) Tomorrow: Wario Ware: Do It Yourself is released, even though it's been out in Japan for nearly a year.
