Moon Dragon Quilla
This is the other Aztec Dragon from the show. It is
a 2500 ATK 2000 DEF DARK Dragon Synchro of the level
6. It also needs Supay to be Synchro SUmmoned, which
is a shame as Debris Dragon would have loved this
card. The stats are actually all right, nothing too
special, but not bad either.
The effect is that when it is selected as an AK
target, you gain life equal to half the ATK of the
monster attacking. This si actually better than you
would think, as you still have tim to activate a
card lie Sakuretsu Armor to destroy the monster, but
still gain the lifepoints. It also has the effect of
when it is destroyed you get an Inti from your
geaveyard to the field.
The same playability issues arise with this card as
with Inti, D.D. Crow is a terror and it is hard to
really get them to the field reliably, but Oracle of
the Sun allows it to be a little easier to play, but
still the deck is not the best idea to use in the
world.

Finishing the Inca
reviews, Moon Dragon Quilla finishes off the week.
The weaker of the two synchro monsters, a level 6
synchro monster that requires Supay instead of Fire
Ant Ascator and when its attacked, you gain life
points equal to half the attacking monsters attack
points. When its destroyed you can bring back Sun
Dragon Inti. Like Inti, Quilla is fairly easy to
Synchro Summon. With Oracle of the Sun and cards
like Cyber Dragon, you can use them as materials
with Supay to easily summon Moon Dragon Quilla. Its
an interesting deck and there are many ways to work
with these cards. Des Counterblow and Skill Drain
are both cards that don't affect the Inca archetype
because most of the cards revolve around the
graveyard, except Apocatequil. So you could easily
help take down your opponents monsters while
controlling their effects with Skill Drain. If Inti
is destroyed in battle they still take damage and
you still get Moon Dragon back during your standby
phase.

Moon Dragon Quilla
is a Level 6 Synchro Monster.
Crowded slot, the Level 6 is:
every Synchro deck should be running
Goyo Guardian and
Brionac.
It requires a specific Tuner,
and that Tuner really only belongs
in a deck dedicated to this “family”
of cards (Sun
Dragon Inti,
Moon Dragon Quilla,
Supay,
Fire Ant Ascator, and
Oracle of the Sun).
The effects on this card are
that when it’s selected as an attack
target, you get LP equal to half the
attacks ATK.
That is okay, but it’s
basically a small refund is all.
It is nice that it can get a
Sun Dragon Inti from the
Graveyard when
Moon Dragon Quilla is destroyed,
but you have to hurry and get them
both out early on to really benefit
from this effect and in the gap on
the
Inti to
Quilla side of it a lot of decks
can hit hard enough to go for the
win.
It’s cool to see such
interconnected cards, but especially
without a unified name to make
support for them easier, I just
don’t see a deck built around this
working.
And it needs a deck to work.
I said
Inti wasn’t enough to be worth
running yesterday.
Quilla is smaller and its only
benefit is that when it’s nuked it
will fetch out
Inti right away instead of at
your next Standby Phase.
And just like yesterday, bounce and
similar effects laugh extra hard at
these monsters and the effort that
goes into them.

Sun Dragon Inti and Moon Dragon Quilla:
Well, for some reason, my Drill Warrior review got
posted for yesterday, but sense these two go hand in
hand, I'll just post them together. The ratings are
the same I meant to give for Inti, so it's good.
Well, this card makes a cool combo with it's
partner, Moon Dragon Quilla. Basically, the two
cards are protected from destruction with each
other, and hurt your opponent/reward you for
destroying them with card effects. The main problem
I see with the deck (and yes, they take their own
deck), is that it's going to be pretty hard to get
one in the graveyard and another on the field with
the speed of all the other decks running around, and
the deck will probably never be competitive.
Nevertheless, these two cards make a cool combo
together.

Moon Dragon Quilla
There really isn't much to review today. This card
is slightly easier to make than Quilla is, but
you'll still need to use Cyber Dragon, Oracle of the
Sun or The Tricky. Its effect is weaker, and so are
its stats. This card can be grabbed by Goyo, ripped
by Gaia Knight, etc., and can still be owned by
Brionac. I don't know what else I can say, because
this is a card meant to be ranked with its own deck,
because that's the only place they'll be seen.
2.5/5
Art: Even after a day, it's still hilarious.
Fun Fact: Plusle and Minun are the only Pokemon
designed for Double Battles, and they're useless
there.
Tomorrow: The day before Easter. What does Jesus
have to do with rabbits that lay eggs? (that's not
candy)

Moon Dragon Quilla …
Well we just reviewed it’s opposite yesterday –
the Sun Dragon … and both dragons are pretty much
equal and complimentary. With 2500 ATK, the Moon
Dragon may not be as STRONG as it’s Sun counterpart,
but it’s also level 6, making it a bit easier to
synchro summon. And 2500 ATK is pretty good for 6
stars. Also, it allows u to increase your life
points by the amount equal any monster that selects
this as an attack target. This is awesome, as even
if your opponent is trying to kamikaze himself
against Quilla, u will still gain 2500 life points
in the trade off … in fact, even if they attack with
a STRONGER monster, u will still net +2500 life
points. (do the math) And since Quilla only has to
be targeted by an attack, u can still respond to
said attack with a Mirror Force or whatever and
destroy the monster, and still get the LP increase.
Or even more fun – change the amount on monsters on
the field when the attack is declared, u gain the
life points and the battle resets, meaning your
opponent will have to declare the attack again … so
u gain LP again. Cool, huh?
And then if Quilla IS destroyed, u can special
summon the stronger Inti if it’s in your graveyard.
Not bad. The Sun and the Moon are good compliments
for each other. Obviously, u run both or neither at
all.
It’s a fun card if u can get it working.
