Koa'ki Meiru Bergzak
#TSHD-EN099 During each of your End Phases, destroy this card unless you send 1 "Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru" from your hand to the Graveyard or reveal 1 Warrior-Type monster from your hand. If this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle, it can attack once again in a row.

Friday
Koa'ki Meiru Bergzak closes the week, a Level 4,
Earth attributed monster, who is a Warrior with 2000
attack and 200 defense. You know, it's interesting
to see 2000 attack on a Level 4 and not have a
damning restriction, aside from the normal dribble
of sending "Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru" to a
Graveyard, or revealing a Warrior type monster.
Anyway, the effect here is simple. It has the
Black Luster Solider--Envoy of the Beginning double
attack. Nice enough effect, solid hitter for the
Koa'ki Meiru Deck with the 2000 attack, so play him
if you have room. (Does anyone even really play this
Deck? If so, I'd be interested in seeing a Deck
list.)

Koa'ki Meiru Bergzak ...
Bergzak ... Ok. He's good. For the stupid Koa'ki
Meirus? ... Probably not so much. But pretty great
for warriors. Revealing one warrior monster in your
hand should be a fairly easy maintenance cost so
long as ur not going with a strict Koa'ki Meiru
build. And the reward for keeping him around is that
u get one of the strongest 4 star normal summon
monsters available (2000 ATK) that can attack twice
so long as it kills something the 1st time. Great
for getting rid of Dandylion Fluff tokens, Fires of
Doomsday, monsters like Mystic Tomato and the like
... and even just laying on the damage after
clearing up stall tactics like Treeborn Frog and
such.
Not much else to say. If u like Warriors ... and
u like non-restricted 4 star monsters ... and u like
them to have a boat-load of punch ... and u like
them to attack numerous times ... Then Bergzak is
for u.

Koa'ki Meiru Bergzak, this card is pretty bad
ass. It can attack twice if it destroys a monster in
battle, it has a solid 2000 attack, and its a level
4 warrior. And its easy to keep out so long as you
reveal a Warrior monster. What decks run a decent
amount of warriors, well, there is decks with the
Destiny Hero engine, with Malicious and Destiny
Draw, as well as other Destiny Heroes, and then
theres Six Samurais, which would make for a rather
interesting deck, because Bergzak adds an additional
power house to the deck. Outside of Six Samurais and
anything that uses the D-Engine, Bergzak really has
no room in your deck.

Koa'ki Meiru Bergzak:
I'm not tired of complaining about these guys
yet, so here we go... It seems as if they are trying
way to hard to make these guys a playable deck type
that they are just throwing random powerful cards
their way now to try and hype them up. The Koa'ki
archetype started as anti light and dark (meta)
powerhouses, and now seem to have transitioned more
into wanna-be quick killers. This guy being no
exception... he is powerful as a 2000 atk double
attacker, but he's STILL a Koa'ki Meiru monster,
which means if you want him to last, you are running
at least 2 incredibly worthless cards in your deck,
and you had better have another warrior in your
hand. It's just not worth it. Aside from the suck
that is the Iron Core deck, this card by itself, is
really not that bad, he gets to attack twice as a 4
star 2000 atk monster, then kills himself. That
actually seems kind of balanced. Better than Plague
Wolf anyway. Now if he just didn't have that stupid
name...

Friday: Koa'ki Meiru Bergzak
These comments are taken from my blog:
Another contradictory piece of KM support.
Basically the entire assortment of KM monsters
features some sort of anti-meta or permission
effect. Bergzak is a monster that can conceivably
push through almost 6000 damage against certain
fields. However, I don’t understand why KM, of all
archetypes, would receive this kind of explosive
burst.
The weight of evidence, from Iron Core Luster to
Automatic Laser to KM Guardian, Beetle, Drago, Ice,
Doom, and others indicate that the archetype was
focused on control and field presence.
Also, I just wanted to state that this card has
serious potential in a Warrior-based strategy.
However, I don't tend to agree with cards that
create situations such as “I will swing over your
Thunder King and then attack again for 2100 total
points of damage. Hello there.”
