Run while you can, Magician's Valkyria! Find some place to hide, Dark Magician Girl! It’s the Konami Tentacle Octopus… Baby head, flying…  zombie thing. Now that I think about it, I wonder what brought Konami to create something of Necroface’s caliber? Oh well. Anyways, about our creepy friend Necroface. I personally like Necroface, but he really just isn’t that playable anymore. There are some nice moves you can play with him. Take for instance using Gold Sarcophagus. You select Necroface, remove him (Which removes the top 5 cards from both players deck’s) then in two turns when you summon him he’ll be at least a 2200Atk monster, which isn’t too bad.

Even with this, though, he still isn’t that playable. Even in a dark deck you would have to be careful. Say he’s in your hand and you’ve played Allure of Darkness, you will have to be very careful in choosing to remove your Necroface because your top 5 cards would go with him. This card still has some perks that are mildly playable. Say you’re running zombie and you have your Mezuki and Plaguespreader Zombie already removed from play. You could summon Necroface to shuffle them back into your deck, but there are still way better options *Cough* Burial from a Different Dimension *Cough.*
So with Necroface being limited and all, I don’t really see him as a very good card. I definitely think that Konami should consider placing Necroface back to at least being Semi-Limited. And hey, if he’s even put back at 3 again we may see that Inferno Tempest OTK come back. Who knows?
