Frieza the Maniacal Level 2 – GT Super 17 Saga Uncommon - #73 Personality

Power: Energy attack doing 10 life cards of damage and 2 power stages of damage. Costs 3 power stages to perform. For the rest of Combat, your Frieza Named cards that perform attacks are put on top of your Life Deck after use instead of being discarded or removed from the game.

Pretty nice. Great ally at level 2 for Aura and Supreme decks with big damage, decent cost, and high PUR. Interesting extra effect as well.

The effect that comes from Frieza’s attack isn’t shabby, especially if you learn to abuse it properly. If you can have a collection of cards that can draw cards back, you can stack powerful Frieza named cards like Black Frieza’s Left Chop, Black Frieza’s Fierce Detonation, and Frieza’s Daunting Bombardment for some swift punishing. Champion Drill and Sigma Force come to mind.

Either way you look at it, it allows you to reuse powerful cards. Fierce Detonation can remove DBs, and in a good combat, you can use its ability a good 5-8 times. Being able to abuse it can easily control any deck, even decks with Trunks as the MP or Blue Rilldo with infinite prevention.

And his energy isn’t bad either. Try him out as an ally provided you have and easy way to play level 2 allies.

Expanded: 3.9 out of 5.0 (good ally if playable, interesting effect and can setup combos)
Focused: 4.1 out of 5.0 (ditto, decent MP as well)
Sealed: 3.0 out of 5.0 (really depends if you pull him as an MP or as an ally and assuming you can play him, but if you can he’d be a 5)

BoBo
Frieza lvl 2-

Expanded- In expanded this may be the best lvl 2 Frieza because it can pull a few cute tricks with Friezas Deaunting Bombardment since but otherwise its just a big energy with a semmingly useless effect. 2/5(The best Frieza here simply by power level and by having a big attack)

Focused- In focused Frieza Black Energetic is a bit more playable so any Frieza will get a higher rating here. The effect is next to useless and the energy is average, but this is really the only option if your MP is Frieza. As an ally in something like Orange Myuu Aura he can be another big attack and could be useful. 3/5(Frieza is just generally better and Orange Aura is more playable here)
