Black Full Force Impact – GT Baby Saga
Common - #19
Combat – Energy

Power: Energy attack doing 7 life cards of damage and costs 3 power stages to perform. Your opponent discards a card from his hand.

Common right? Bad right? No. Looks like a simple card. Simple card power. Extremely good.

Let’s break this down. Energy for 7 at a cost of 3. Not shabby in both Z and GT standards. Nothing gamebreaking though. Now the secondary effect. The discard thing. What does that mean? Two cards for the price of one. Yep. You nail a card from their hand and maybe even a block while you’re at it. Before, in Z standards, a card meant a non-combat. Now, with the look at to 6 thing, that card will often be much more vital and harmful to the cause.

Using this when your opponent only has one card in hand is extremely beneficial, since you’ll know if this hits and if all your other cards will work or not. Not to mention, Energetic Mastery will kick in and level you. You can’t argue too much with that. Either way, semi big attack with hand manipulation. That = good.

There are way too many Black decks that this could work wonders in. Carpet loves this card. Standard beatdown decks love the added hand disruption effect. Energetic Mastery loves to level. You can’t go too wrong with this. Especially in Focused, where your cardpool is extremely limited.

Consider running this in your Black beatdown/hand manipulation decks. It’s good.

Expanded: 4.5 out of 5.0 (lots of uses, so little time)
Focused: 4.7 out of 5.0 (with lack of card choices, Science and mainly Energetic should use this)
Sealed: 5.0 out of 5.0 (Use this. It is good. I said so.)

~Surllio~ Black Full Force Impact
GT Common #19
Combat Energy

Black's ability to control the opponents hand only got more powerful with the introduction of GT. This card is one of the more prime examples of its new keen power which is a powerful deck to build.

Black Full Force Impact starts off as a simple energy attack for 3 power stages that deals 7 life cards, but it also allows you to knock away at your opponent's hand as well. Hand Manipulation is a powerful tool, and if a player has no cards in his hand, he also can't defend against an onslaught of attacks. This card helps black along with that principle.

This card has more uses as well. Black energy decks could use the card as a great set up card for future attacks, using the fact that your opponent has one less card to defend against you. Black physical uses it for the same reason, though is not at likely to embrace the card.

All said about the card, its basically straight forward. Try tieing this card in with King Cold or General Rildo, or using the CS mastery for a fun deck that totally kills your opponent's hand.

Expanded: 3.9 of 5
Focused: 4.2 of 5
Sealed: 4.5 of 5
