Power Stages: 3000-0
Uber greatness. Gohan is the big center of my GenCon Indy deck,
being the MP
and all. 1:4 is a a great tradeoff, and in Namekian and Black it
turns into
card advantage that doesn't make you take a life card. Definitely
use his
power every turn to take advantage of his cost to damage
effectiveness.
To top that off, he's both a Saiyan and a Human. That can be bad
against
other Nappas, but also good. As a Human, you can abuse Tien's Help
and
Yamcha's Stance, which is what I did and worked like a charm.
His named card is pointless so don't run it. Gohan's Dream works
only with
Goku.
A base of three consistent except for top and bottom stage makes him
somewhat decent. Gohan is in my opinion one of the best characters
to play
as, so don't pass him up if you want a quick, cost effective deck.

Mathew Low’s recent success proves the purpose of running this Gohan.
There are two masteries you can run him with: Black and Namekian.
Black isn’t a good choice as there are maybe a total of 3-6 blocks
run in every deck, negating the point of the mastery. That leaves
Namekian which is sick in stage gaining if played right. To put it
simple, it’s an easy combo that starts off on the table: Gohan’s
power for a nice 4 damage and then gain 2 stages during your next
turn. You can even have a little bit of fun with Paid Off. There
isn’t much to really say other then that Gohan is good and that he
is a great choice for if you plan on running Namekian.
