"Hi, my name is Poopy the
Gnome, please don't pass me, I'll make a great
39th card! Really, play me, I work really
well with others." 1 in all

Ok, I'm not
being funny here...but if the gnome isn't of the
Bottle Gnome variety, it's not very good. Ok,
I'll even stretch and say the Ticking Gnomes were
ok. Any others just haven't been that good

1/1, eh? It's got cool art! Actually,
the ability is useful, from what I can see, in 2
decks - sligh to avoid COPs, and mono-black so
Terror is always a good thing. In both
cases, there are prolly better, more stable
answers.
This guy can be a trickster in limited, and worth
playing, but still not great. He can do fun
things against protection stuff, but still not
great.Constructed

You should only look at Ersatz Gnomes if you're
playing mono-colour and
you're expecting MAJOR worries with protection
from your colour. Otherwise
you've got a little 1/1 for 3 mana.
In constructed, you just about might sideboard a
few if you know that the
environment is built to hose your colour. As for
limited, he will have very
few uses, but perhaps as flimsy insurance if you
draft mono-colour. In both
formats, he's still pretty bad.

Well a 1/1 creature that is vulnerable to
Disenchant for 3 mana is fairly, shall we say,
uneconomical, so expectations are running fairly
high for its ability.
Turn things colorless. Well I suppose it
helps with getting your Spirit of the Night past a
Circle of Protection: Black, but honestly folks,
did Raging Spirit's ability make it playable?
How about using a separate card to do that?
Honestly this is one of the worst cards I've ever
seen. Probably in the bottom 20, so to
speak.
.01 for having the ability to attack.

Who likes overcosted colorless creatures that
changes
other spells and permanents to colorless?
Not too
many of you, eh? Heh, me neither.
Same goes for Limited.

See kids even back in the Golden Age WOTC made
bad overcosted cards with dumb abilities. This
one is so bad that I had to go look it up to see
what it did. The ability was useless then and is
just as useless today.

Constructed-.5 (IT is a creature so it can
attack...?)
