Grave Consequences
appears to be one of the unexpected stars of
Judgement that has not been approached. Possibly
devastating to Tog players and decks that need
threshold to be 'good', the fact that its easy to
cast, is an instant, and draws you a card. A cheap
cantrip can be cycled early and can be fairly
naughty later in the game. In Limited where decks
are pretty much guaranteed to either need to use
flashback cards or threshold cards, you'll
probably do at least 2 or 3 with this, maybe up to
7. For B1, that's a bargain. A 2.5 in Limited and
Constructed. |

I can't see this making much of a
splash in either limited or constructed. The only
place this would be good is against a threshold
deck, and even then, they may just keep 7 there
and take 7.

I think the jury is still out on how good this
is. The fact that it's an instant for 1B and a
cantrip makes me like it. I think the effect is
solid if your deck doesn't worry about threshold
and their's does. I also like the way it wrecks
Tog and Quiet Speculation. So I think the card
is solid.

I'll be
honest here. I haven't even considered
playing this card. I feel as though there is
some potential here. I'm just not sure
how I would go about using it. I have to say
that this is the first time I don't really feel
right giving advice on a card.
I think for now it just gets a medium to poor
rating, mainly because from what I can tell about
it, you won't be using it often, except in
specific situations.

Grave Consequences
This is one of those cards that makes a really
interesting sideboard card, but isn't good in a
lot of situations because it doesn't alway do what
you want it to do. If you're behind in life, your
opponent can sometimes afford to just let your
spell do whatever.
