This guy is costed ok
for what he does. Plus he is three mana for
a three power creature. Unfortunately, he
didn't really make it into any decks at that time.
In limited this guy was a TON better than he was
in limited. I would draft him to this day if
he were reprinted and I was playing white.

A lion I never
played with. This guy would be a pretty solid pick
if it was in the current block, so rating him off
of that, a good 3.5. Rarely does a 3/1 for 3 make
its way into constructed, but its isnt horrible. A
2 in constructed. |

He's
a lion, which means he's got some bite, but not
much. Apparently in Jamuraa, it's only necessary
to have utitlity on your own turn. If he tapped
a creature, or could force more than one
creature to not block, he'd be useful. As it is,
he's a pile of poop. Lion poop. But poop
nonetheless.

A 3/1 for 3 is
worthy of some decks, even if his ability is all
but worthless.

The Jamuraan Lion never
really caught my eye as good in anything, even
draft. Three mana for a 3/1 is all right but
nothing to get excited about. Also, its ability
isn't too amazing since I'd rather have a guy with
the tapping ability. In Constructed, I'd rather
run cheaper, better creatures once again.

Jamuraan Lion is
an efficient white weenie with a useful (but
counter-productive) ability. A 3/1 for 3cc is an
efficient attacker, but its special ability
prohibits it from attacking if you use it.
Overall, not the best card, but not bad,
either.
In Limited, the 3 power and
a nice, possibly continuous combat trick makes
this guy a little better.

This guy looks
like he's better in limited than he is in
constructed. A 3/1 is good size, and a decent
trade when it comes to blocking a 3/3 and
up.
His ability can sometimes be
the difference between winning, and loosing in a
draft, and when he gets out all alone, he's a
force to be reckoned with. In limited, he gets a
4.
In constructed, however, all
of that is thrown out the window. He lacks the
toughness to be a really good creature, and simple
things take him out, like Llanowar Elves or
Prodigal Sorcerers. Size isn't everything in
constructed, and this guy proves it better than
any other card. In constructed, I give him a 1.5,
because at least he doesn't cost 3W. He could be a
lot worse.

Another
overcosted lion. It seems that after the
Savannah and the Matenda lions WOTC decided
lions needed to be overcosted. Here is a good
example. Jamurran is a 2/1 for 3. It does have
an interesting ability in disallowing a creature
to block put the cost is 1+tap the lion in other
words an overcosted twiddle. I do remember
winning a draft once by using this guy to
nullify my opponent's only flyer so at least for
1 day of my 6 years in the game this card was
cool. Overall I see him as a sub optimal card in
constructed and a playable below-average
creature in Limited.
Ratings-Constructed
1.5 (Better than lots of cards we've reviewed
but still not good)
Limited 2 (Not good but at least usable as a
23rd card)
