I can imagine
how many people will cry their eyes out when Tithe
rotates out of Extended. One of the best mana
fixers with Duals that is available, its a staple
in WW/x decks of all kinds. I'd say that this card
has everything a card needs to be an amazing card.
For what it does, its a 5.
Its no Morphling, but you
can't compare apples and oranges. |

Only
seriously amazing with Dual lands, Tithe is
still solid with many other effects, especially
when you're sacrificing your own lands or using
some other effects with mana.

Well, it's not
Land Tax. That leaves plenty of room for error,
though, and this is still a good card. Sorta like
a Harrow that you don't have to sacrifice a land
to, only finds plains, and only costs W. Good in
Limited, too.

This one is easy. If
you are playing white in a format that allows
this card you play it...no questions asked.
Extra land on the board and thinning your deck
are always good. The cost is low and the
benefits are high. Play it in any format when
you can.

I have
always liked this card. I still think it is
silly that they didn't make it read to search and
get a BASIC plains card. However, if that's
how they want it, I will take full advantage of it
:) It has seen a lot of play in a ton of
decks. It's just waaaaay to handy.
As for limited, honestly I have no idea. I'm
not really sure if it would be worth draft. I
guess I would take it over some really bad cards.
At the very least it would help thin your
deck out a little.
