Combolicious. I
have tried to break this card a few times, but
never quite
able to. In the right deck its very
powerful. A 3 in Constructed, in
Limited I think it could be very solid and also
gets a 3.

Recycle. I remember watching
David Williams trying to pilot a Recycle deck
to the final 8 of Regionals back in the day.
He didn't make it. But it was
fun everytime watching him try.
Art Rating: I've never looked at the card.

The art on
this card is great. I also like the mechanic
of it. you can potentially put yourself in a
lock. However, if you are playing carefulyl
around it, you get some really good card drawing
action going.
In limited, I think I would take this. It
could possibly lead to youwinning game strictly on
card advantage.

Cards
that lead to goofy combo decks that just don't
work are some of my favorites. This has to
be one of my favorite cards to break ever.
Yeah, maybe it's possible, especially with
Spellbook, but it never got broken even when both
cards were type 2 legal - I don't see that
changing now. Just too disruptable.
In
limited, why not. The card advantage will
almost always overcome an opponent as long as you
don't have too many spells that cost more than 6
in your library. When you start drawing 2:1
or 3:1, you win - that's Magic for ya. Squee

Another decent card with goofy art. The art is great
for the card, in my
opinion :)
I remember one person who was always playing this
card with Aluren. Probably
the only way you're going to be able to abuse
this card, as it requires
casting 2 or more spells per turn to get you any
advantage.
In limited, I'm reminded of a quote by Gary Wise (I
don't remember it
exactly, but this is the gist of it):
"Never skip your draw step for a card that
doesn't begin with 'N' and end
with 'ecropotence.'"
Constructed: 2.7
Limited: 1.0 (lower if I could)

It's quite a hideous thought, when you apply the
word 'Recycle' to the
process of digestion! Much as I'd like to rate
this card highly, 4GG means
that this card is hard to play. The effect is
great, but it cuts down on
your options and removes the valuable draw phase.
In addition, a simple
discard spell like Gerarrd's Verdict shuts you
down for good.
In constructed, stick it in a deck with massive
amounts of acceleration and
rely on it for drawing power. Recycle is a little
better in limited, as
there's more chance it'll see play, and gives you
a reliable draw engine.
