Pojo's Magic The Gathering
Card of the Day

One of the best
Elves ever printed. It brings in the flavor or
Elves so well, and it produces tons of mana to
boot. This will be an integral part of an
Extended Biorhythm deck. It has also been used
in the past to generate obscene amounts of mana
to either cast a lot of creatures or X-spell you
out. I've also generated infinite squirrels with
this, Intruder Alarm, Deranged Hermit, and
Tradewind Rider. One of the more fun combo decks
I've played.
In limited, however,
this guy is nearly useless. In Saga Block
Limited, you never had more than 1 or 2 elves,
so he never produced much mana.

1st turn: Forest,
Llanowar Elf
2nd turn: Forest, Priest
3rd turn: Forest, Child of Gaea
There wasn't much else to say after that. Toss in
an elvish lyricist at some point and you got even
more mana. Unfortunately, 2 sets later (in Urza's
destiny)
they printed Rofellos, who generated even more
mana than the priest so, once again, a good card
was eclipsed by a great card. I'll give her a 2.5
in constructed, rising to a 4 if you couldn't get
your hands on any other mana accelerators (like
the rare Rofellos).
Unless you manage to get some more elves in your
limited game, she'll only spped you up by one
turn, although this could be useful. A 3 in
limited.

This is everyone favorite fun card. Elves are
cheap to make and some even have nifty abilities.
As far as we can tell, Onslaught is only going to
help this card get into more decks. I would
expect to sell a lot more priest of titanias over
the next couple of months.
In limited, the Priest of Titania isn't such a big
deal. If you just needed some extra mana to cast
things, then go ahead and play it. Otherwise, it
pretty much uselss as a creature.

Limited: 2.3

Priest of Titania
A very good, utilitarian
card. A must have for any green deck trying to
score a lot of quick mana.
