A decent way for
blue to deal with a Squirrel Nest or other
problem enchantment without counterspelling it.
It can also move enchantments onto untargetable
permanents. Not the best card for blue, but a
nice niche card.
This card gets a lot
better in the OTJ limited formats. There are a
lot of enchantments that like to target lands,
as well as a few other creature enchantments
that are worth taking. Not something that would
make me play blue, but I'd play it main if I was
playing blue.

Forget
about constructed all together for this except OBC.
It has a few uses there.
This card is
ridiculous in limited. If you're playing
blue, if you're playing anything even mildly
slacky, play this card. It's just the
bomb. Stops really nasty stuff like Squirrel
Nest and Caustic Tar. Swtich around
enchantments like Kirtar's Desire and Seton's
Desire. Better in Sealed than Draft, but not
to be overlooked in either environment. This
card will really screw with an opponent.
I've had people pull enchantments like nest and
tar for game 2 after seeing this card - people
HATE getting their stuff stolen - especially at
instant speed.

Although not really a main deck style card I
have found this to be powerful in OBC draft
where there seem to be several decent enchant
creature cards. I often main deck it as a 22d or
23rd card, sometimes higher depending on what
else I've seen. In Constructed it is a decent
sideboard card.

Aura Graft is a great card, definitely a
post-spell counterspell. Great in
blue white when it can move your Kirtar's Desire
around for you, or your
Unquestioned Authority - but it's awesome in
stealing good enchantments from
your opponent, like Chamber of Manipulation.

A sideboard card at best. As a general rule
enchantments that target a permanent have always
been fragile with only a few exceptions.
Since most good players don't play with local
enchantments... there won't be many targets for
your Aura Graft making it a bad card to use.

I have never cast this card.
Its a very situational card that is usually
very powerful when used (as are most situational
cards). A big sideboard
card against green's Squirrel Nest, Elephant
Guide, etc. A 2 in both
Limited and Constructed as though it is powerful,
its usually not very
useful. |
