Mostly due to his low costs, this guy ain't too
bad. In block, this guy could make mucho Goblin
dudes if you see him late game. Early game, he's a
Gray Ogre. Seems like a decent deal. Probably not
a constructed card, though.
In limited,
I'd play him if you're going red. Decent guy,
decent cost, and tribal is the name of the game.

Every once in a
while, you get a card that creates goblin
tokens. This is a nice take on that ability. You
can either have a 1/1 for 1, but in a goblin
deck there are many better goblins for that
cost. Or late in the game, play this face down
for 3, and bust out 6+ 1/1's when you flip him
over. Unfortunately, if you're in the late game
with a goblin deck, you've already lost. Sorry.
In limited, can be
nice to have multiple 1/1 attackers or blockers,
but they're 1/1's. Unless you have about equal
or more creatures when you flip this, that's not
going to mean much.

I like this guy more than some people, I think
they underestimate chumping
and getting just a couple 1/1's out of the deal.
Look at him as a symbiotic
elf with potential, and he'll see more play. In
constructed he's a 1/1 for
1... with mild come-back potential, depending on
the situation. Not as
good as he looks though.

War Trumpeter just
baffles me (which is odd since I picked it). It
seems like it should be good, that there is some
combo that makes it playable. However, every time
I get close the high morph cost shuts it down.
Constructed Well,
here is where it would pay dividends if it could.
Since I dont see how to use it yet I will have to
give it a low rating 1.65
Limited A little
more playable here but not too much 2.15
PEZ Even more unforgiving of high
costs than most formats 1.45 |

This guy's pretty playable... in limited. Because
in type two there just
isn't room for him, if those silly goblin bob rush
decks actually have
enough mana to morph this guy and use his ability
they have already lost.
But like I said, he's pretty cool in Limited.

It's a 1/1 for R (red has no
shortage of those, only better) with an overpriced
(for constructed) morph ability that can really
only be abused with Mirari's Wake.
Limited: This guy can be freaking amazing.
The ability to make creatures at instant speed is
broken. At worst, playing it as a morph creature
and then paying three to split it into two 1/1
blockers.

I would most likely stay away from this creature
in constructed. The only exception might be to
play it in a goblin deck to force through a few
more creatures. Otherwise, it doesn't have much
place.
In limited, this creature can be a gamebreaker.
The problem though is keeping it alive. When it's
morphed, it's a liability, but the payoffs can be
big.

This guy is a decent goblin morph. For five
mana he becomes a Symbiotic elf... =/
He's not too bad though, especially cause
he's red and goes with sparksmith. Block, damage
on the stack he breeds a little 1/1 for 3. He's
pretty good though for a cheap red morph.
In constructed... it has the legions set symbol-
need I say more.
