Tap
out for Ogre, tap out for 3 power flier. At
least it can block anything. It's solid, but
anything even mildly decently cast is solid when
it flies and has power 2 or more.
In constructed.....nevermind
constructed.

Sootfeather Flock - I
just can't imagine this being played in
constructed. It just costs too much. In limited,
it's a black flyer with a decent power of 3 and
morph, and that makes it worth playing. In this
environment, you have to have 3 drops, and they
usually come in the form of morphables.

Wednesday - Sootfeather Flock
A bird for all those Keeper of the Nine Gales
decks out there. It's in black, the removal
color, so you might be able to go U/B in OnBC
and have a deck. Then again, maybe not.
He's worthless outside of maybe that one deck in
constructed, due to his cost.
In limited, it's a flier for black, with no
drawback. That pretty much sums up the need to
play it.

Sootfeather Flock
Similar to the Seaswift, he swings on turn four
in the air, but you won't
do anything else on that turn due to his morph
cost, and he can't change
creature types. In exchange, you get a
toughness. A good example of blue
being the flying color I suppose, this guy won't
see much constructed play,
but he's still good for black in limited.

Sootfeather Flock is a
decent sized flyer by Black’s standards – its also
pricey as Black spells go.
Constructed – For this
type of benefit it is an awful cost to pay – 1.75
Limited – The power of
evasion and a decent strength make this guy a bit
better in a format that doesn’t key in on low cost
cards – 2.65
PEZ – Too expensive
and not enough punch for Black decks to justify –

So if you don't morph
this guy you'll be paying five for a 3/2 flyer.
>,< He sucks in Constructed but gets a lil better
in limited, morph him turn three and de-morph him
turn 4. When you look at him this way you just
spend al your mama for 2 turns in a row to get a
3/2 flyer, great isn't he?
Is it just me or do
this week's cards suck? 0.o

Sootfeather Flock
A 3/2 flier for 5 or
morph for 3B.....CRAP! Next.
Limited: I've said
it before, evasion in Limited is good. Black
however doesn't naturally take to the sky so it
usually comes with a price. The fact that
Sootfeather Flock can morph does allow this to be
a pretty consistent creature, even if it isn't
always in the air.

Wednesday - Sootfeather Flock
This review is easy.
Awful and overcosted in constructed.
Mediocre, but not great in limited:
www.texasmagicleague.com. this card is on none of
the decklists on that site thus far :)

Sootfeather Flock
Since when does black have good flyers? This
is oddly something black gets from legions that it
needed, although I don't think black deserves it.
A great pick, although expensive. Its ascending
aven for alot more, and it can block. Also this
things easy to splash.
Yet again- not meant for constructed.
