A nice
repeatable effect. Unfortunately, it only
hits players, which limits it effectiveness.
But having a repeatable damage effect for 2
mana can be effective. Not the best, but a
good, fun card nonetheless.

First of all, this is a funny Unhinged card
because, well, it includes SPANKING! Once you
get past the funny idea of your opponent having
to say "Thank you sir, may I have another" all
you have is an artifact that deals one point of
damage per turn. This is an example of an
Unhinged card that Research and Development
wants to make playable SO BADLY that they
watered it down to a point that it is hardly
useful.

Well, since my first Unhinged event was against
my wife, this seemed like a funny high pick
card, but in general the card is lacking an
ability it so desperately needs , the ability to
affect creatures. Tolim-Tor's Darts never quite
made the cut, and neither does this one,
although it is funnier.

What is this card all about?! Aren't we running
a rating PG program here?! OK, so maybe it's not
that bad. The card isn't all that bad.
Unfortunately, you can only target a player with
it and that lessens the value a bit. Personally,
I think the entire flavor of the card is
extremely funny. Too bad I'd never play the
card.

Rod of Spanking --
For a lone colorless mana, this card is pretty
good as far as pinging goes. I'm not too happy
that it doesn't hit creatures, but I suppose
using Rod of Spanking on Uktabi Oragutans might
lead to some awkward situations. The condition
on this card will rarely come into play, but
every once in a while, you might be able to get
an extra point out of the rod. Overall, the card
is decent but nothing special.
