Plow Under -
Friday
This is another card that's being overused. I
see too many players rush to put a set of Plow
Under in their deck when they are building with
green. It's not that straightforward. The card
is good, but it's not THAT good. Oddly enough
this card is stronger against control decks. I
know it may not appear that way to inexperienced
players, but control decks HATE losing advantage
because of this card.

Plow
Under --
I think people are a little bit too big on this
card right now. I realize that, in theory if
sometimes not in practice, it sets your opponent
back two turns. However, there are a lot of
times that I see Plow Under played with nothing
to back it up, and it just turns out as delaying
the inevitable. Don't overlook the ability to
lock down an opponent with Eternal Witness,
something to make copies (Kiki-Jikie, for
example) or to bounce it (Crystal Shard, persay),
and Plow Under, but I think that speaks more on
behalf of the Eternal Witness than the Plow
Under.
All of that said, I think Plow Under is a decent
enough card. If you plan on slowing your
opponent down, if not locking them down
completely, then I think Plow Under is the right
card for you.

Plow
Under
Solid, solid, solid. Plow sees a LOT of play,
hence why we are almost sold out of them on our
Website. Setting your opponent's mana production
back is a really solid ability, and although
Plow costs 5, Green's ability to accellerate
makes 5 not a problem at all, as you'll probably
produce that way before turn 5, and as early as
turn 3. Pushing your opponent's mana back to one
on turn 3 can be devastating. Plow can also take
away your opponent's ability to draw into
something else useful, also devatating.
Extremely playable and extremely played.
