Eight-and-a-Half-Tails
In limited play, this little Fox will mess up
your game in a big hurry.
There's really no scarier white creature to see
on your opponent's side in Champions limited
formats than this little guy. His ability to
essentially give any creature protection from
any color of permanents or spells is nothing
short of amazing...IF Tails' controller has
enough mana to use the ability optimally. Early
in the game, Tails may be mostly just a
nuisance, but a 2/2 for two nuisance can score
some early damage. Late in the game,
Eight-and-a-Half-Tails is a serious
game-changer. This card should be good in
Champions block constructed, but I don't know
how good he will be in other constructed formats
because his ability is a little mana intensive.

Eight and a Half
Tails
Wow. This guy is amazing. He's a 2/2 for two
mana to begin with, which is great in this
format. Then his two abilities basically can
make any creature invincible for 2W, which I
hear is a good thing. He fits in basically any
deck playing white, although his ability only
really shines in creature heavy decks like white
weenie, or casual decks with a couple big
creatures to win with that this guy can
potentially protect.

Originally I thought this guy was super special.
After playing with him a while, I learned that
he is good, but in select situations only. He's
still a good creature for it's power to cost
ratio, so I'm not dogging it. And honestly, in
limited playing, it is probably even better due
to having more mana available in the long run.
He's a legend, so that limited him a bit, but
his abilities more than make up for his
shortcomings.

Eight-and-a-Half
Tails --
When I first saw this card, I assumed it was a
great addition to any white weenie deck. As it
turns out, however, Eight-and-a-Half Tails isn't
that hot. Why? It's mana requirements are just
too much to handle. Any White Weenie deck wants
to drop a dude almost every turn. How often are
you going to do that when you are paying 1W or
2W to save one of your creatures?
In limited, I'll likely run Eight-and-a-Half
Tails because the format is slower and
protecting one or two of your creatures can be
extremely important. I wouldn't usually first
pick this card, but I would scoop it early.

Eight-and-a-Half-Tails
A card with a lot of potential, His abilities
seem a bit mana intensive for a guaranteed slot
in white weenie decks, but he's versatile and
dangerous, so it's hard to argue. Obviously
amazing in limited, offering both
self-protection and a win condition.
