Jiwari, the
Earth Aflame
This card is an instant Hall of Famer for
limited play. Yes, this card is better in the
limited Environment than Arc-Slogger was last
year or Kumano has been this year. Fireball on a
stick (but only for non-flying creatures) is a
grade A first pick of the HIGHEST ORDER. In
constructed, this card could make the cut in
certain decks (obviously decent in block
constructed) and could be a sideboard card for
controllish red decks of the future.

Jiwari, the
Earth Aflame
Too bad it can't hit a player...it would be an
insane card. Without that ability, it is
relegated to the world of limited, where it
admittedly can kick arse. If you can get Jiwari
down and start firing at your opponent's
creatures, good times. You should be able to
gain board control fairly quickly. Or, for a
ground pounder Wrath of God, you can Channel it.
Channel is turning out to be better than
advertised, and can be a nice, non-counterable
ability in the right situation.
