Natural Balance

This card completes a four day tribute to the wildest combo deck ever, the Pros-Bloom deck. Like Squandered Resources, Natural Balance is a card that Pros-Bloom really cannot win without even though this card is never mentioned as highly as Prosperity or Cadaverous Bloom. This card ALMOST made it on its own in limited where it was used to help three and four color decks. Not very good. This card never really made the cut in constructed outside of the Pros-Bloom deck. I can't imagine what someone would use this card for.

Old School....whatever. Most of these old school picks are mostly irrelevant to today's players.

What are the odds that you won't have to sacrifice any lands when you play this? Well, it costs four mana. So you're not actually getting any lands yourself unless you're tapping out for it, or using Llanowar Elves. And if you're powering this out on Turn Three, what are you giving your opponent? I suppose a Green Weenie deck that can run on five lands might like this once they've gained board control and want to stop their opponent's Dragons and such from ruining the fun, or maybe a Crucible of Worlds deck that never has enough cards in hand for Thoughts of Ruin, but otherwise it just isn't worth the effort.
