Lovisa Coldeyes

The ruler of the Balduvian hordes, her presence inspires her troops to battle, to the tune of +2/+2 and Haste. That's a big boost, putting many of her followers out of range of things like Last Gasp or Pyroclasm, and the Haste ensures that you can always make combat tricky for your opponent, with an extra creature to figure into the math. However, from a tournament point of view, she's just a 3/3 for 5 herself, and so that Last Gasp would be better aimed at Lovisa herself. And you could pick three creature types out of a hat and come up with three that make more difference in most tournament formats. But everybody loves a good Tribal war, and as the first Barbarian enabler, Lovisa is bound to make a lot of people happy. I'm waiting for the Lovisa/Sosuke fanfictions.

Three three THREE lords in one! The Coldsnap lords have a problem. They boost your opponent's creatures too. For odd tribes that wouldn't be a problem. However, berserker, warrior and barbarian are all fairly common creature types. Warriors especially exist in all colors. That being said, +2/+2 and haste is a big boost. Lovisa can be a lord to a whole deck and it need not focus on just one creature type. 5 mana may seem like a lot to pay for this sort of thing, but once you've dropped some 8/8 trample haste Arctic Nishobas, you'll understand how good she can really be.
