There have been a lot of arguments and
discussions involving this card. It seems to
only be great if you get a Jitte or an Glorious
Anthem on the board. Otherwise he's not quite as
good as a 2/2 first striker. Generally, Red and
White have more efficient creatures at this
cost. It is hard to justify included this guy
into a deck right now, but he JUST barely misses
out.

Boros Swiftblade
Bleh for constructed. It does work in
the "Boros Wins" Red White draft
archetype, though. Not amazing, but if
you can grab some
Rally the Righteous, it combos
especially well with it. As for
casual...hmm...I think I'm going to go
to MTGO and try building a casual Boros
deck.

Swiftblade
It took about 10 seconds for everyone who saw
this card to mentally attach it to Umezawa's
Jitte. The current equipment of choice for
anything with a power and toughness works
perfectly on the Swiftblade.
But the fun doesn't stop there. Cheap double
striking creatures are always in demand, as the
ability is still fairly new by the standards of
the other keyworded abilities. Swiftblade is
also often a limited bomb, where it combines
with the few power pumping effects that Ravnica
has to offer to become a huge powerhouse.
Sunforger and Rally the Righteous both become
incredible when attached to this little guy.
