g/b, g/b (g/u can be paid with either G or U.)
1G: Move a +1/+1 counter from target creature
onto another target creature with the same
controller.
1U: Attach target Aura enchanting a permanent to
another permanent with the same controller.
Ah, Team Simic, the preferred guild of Doctor
Frankenstein. Not much to say on this one as I’m
not up to snuff on Simic, but I do know that
they’re all about building the biggest creature
on the block via shifting around +/+ counters.
The last team of green critters to abuse that
particular tactic was the spikes of Stronghold.
This guy seems to be strictly defensive, doesn’t
he? That’s not a bad thing in Ravnica, though.
The city loves it’s counters and Auras. If
you’re playing a tight enough B/G/W deck, I can
see him getting a nod for MVP. 3.5 out of 5 in
both constructed and limited. In casual? Eh, who
knows. ;)

Simic Guildmage
Pretty much all the Guildmages are good, if only
because they’re 2/2’s for two. The Blue
Guildmages especially, since that’s a bigger
creature than Blue ever gets for two mana
without some sort of drawback. And Simic
Guildmage’s abilties are no drawback—if you can
get any Aura or +1/+1 counter in play, this
thing can mess with combat like nobody’s
business. Suddenly all your Auras are
essentially Equipment with a 1U equip cost, and
power and toughness keep changing around as
well. I’d go so far as to say this creature can
make almost any Aura worth playing. Also Simic
Initiate.
