Ladies and gentlemen, I really just want to
point out the illustration on this card. Is it
just me or is that guy keeping his balloon aloft
by farting into it? No, really. He's lighting 'em
up! Look at that picture and tell me I’m wrong,
I dare you. The flavor text certainly isn’t
helping any. "He wages war wherever the win
carries him." Yeah, his wind! ;)
About the card itself? I’m mostly ‘eh’ about it
and I love goblins. It shines brightest in
draft, but only because Red has few decent
fliers at common. Beyond that, constructed and
casual play have sooooo many better options to
choose from.

Once again, goblins are vying for air supremacy.
This isn’t the first time those little red men
have set their sights skyward, but this is
probably the most cost-efficient one in the
group. Usually a ˝ flier costs red 2R, but you
get a mana off for having to attack each turn if
able. Most Goblin decks play fliers simply as
chump blockers, so that may be a bigger problem
than it seems, but in Ravnica block, I’d say
this guy makes an excellent Bloodthirst enabler
and a great candidate for attaching a Sunforger
to. Even Riot Spikes turns this guy into a
serious threat.
