I like this card a lot. I think this card might
be the only green card of quality that dealt
direct damage. I think it should be left out of
10th personally. I'm a huge fan of green, but I
like the fact that it doesn't deal damage. I
think it helps with game balance a bit.
I voted for this over Earthquake. While
Earthquake was just another "meh" card,
Hurricane is a breath of fresh air (no pun
intended) for all Green decks. Green is even
worse at flying than Red, so Hurricane will
almost never take out your best creatures, but
it could easily take out a few of your
opponents. And it can hit players, which is a
sorely rare ability for Green. Green can almost
never win the game outside of the combat step,
and Hurriane actually gives Mean Green some
reach. I really hope this makes it back into the
Core Set.

Hurricane
The green X spell - Flyers bugging you? Wipe
them out with Hurricane. But you have to have
the life left to support it. On the other hand,
if you're opponent has less life than you, you
can use Hurricane to end the game. Decent, but
not ground breaking at all.

Sorcery
Deals X damage to each player and each flying
creature.
Hurricane, the opposite (and I believe lesser)
number of Earthquake. Unlike the Quake,
Hurricane's uses are much more limited. Sure, it
gives Green direct damage, but that's really a
secondary benefit. It's main use (that of
clearing the board of your opponent's creatures)
is much less reliable. For the most part,
non-flyers are going to be the bane of your
existence. It does have a use as a sideboard
card, I suppose...
