This is a very awkward card. You get what you
want, but so does your opponent. Unless I'm
using it in a protected situation, I'm not
likely to play it. If I'm combo'ing and have a
bunch of mana, I can make use of my creature
right then. Unfortunately, in most cases, your
opponent will get their creature and cast/use it
first. I don't like that situation at all.
Does this really do anything besides enable
Hearbeat Maga decks in Standard? I don't think
so. In any other deck, I'd be too afraid to play
this. Never know what you could be handing to
your opponent. Unless you KNOW you have
something to search for that's scarier than
anything your opponent could pull out, this is a
big risk. Granted, these kinds of risks can be
fun, but...

Weird Harvest
Umm.... Kinda crappy. You pay the mana, and your
opponent gets just as much benefit as you do. I
don't even imagine this would see casual play.

Each player may search his or her library for up
to X creature cards, reveal those cards, and put
them into his or her hand. Then each player who
searched his or her library this way shuffles
it.
Heh. Like yesterday's card, Weird Harvest is
another Magic card that I have never seen in
action. Weird, isn't it? Still, it's a Green
Tutor and they've always bothered me just on
general principal. *Black* is the color of
"search yer deck/pick-and-play" spells, not
freaking Green! Jamie Wakefield be damned! ;)
Okay, if you're in the need for several
creatures right now, then the Harvest clearly
excels. Green can produce the mana needed to
cast them all quickly, too. The "each player"
part bothers me a wee bit, which is why I give
it a 3 out of 5.
Limited is all about the creature wars, the
Harvest may be your best friend if the firefight
has stalled out. With everyone drawing up on
critters, the battle will end P.D.Q. One way or
the other. 2.5 out of 5.
Casual: I think I would like to see the stalled
out multiplayer game where this is played. Draw
'em up, show 'em off and laugh at the weaker
players that automatically concede, then kick
back and watch the remaining gunslingers blast
pure hell out of each other. 3.5 out of 5.
