You would be surprised at how hyped this card
was. People tried so many ways to make this card
powerful. It had so much potential, but just
wasn't powerful enough to penetrate the
tournament scene with any significance. There's
really not much to say here. The card's
deceiving and isn't as powerful as we would
really like it to be.
When you play this, you give up two cards in
your hand. So if your opponent Shatters it or
something, you lose all three cards. What did
you get for those three cards? Well, if you play
another copy of either of the two imprinted
cards, you get a free copy of the other one. So
you give up three cards and don't get anything
for it until you play a fourth card? What's up
with that?

Helix
Meh. Some casual players will try to do
something funky with this thing, but for the
most part, it's toilet paper. It's just has too
many complications involved in playing it. Cards
like these just don't work out to be worth the
hassle. NOT at all for draft, and only for the
most die hard crazy casual players.

Well the spellweaver helix has induced many
combos over the years: a cheep spell and tooth
and nail, sway the stars and Promise of Power,
ect... Sadly none of them ever caught on in
constructed, but maybe one day there will be a
insanely highly costed sorcery spell that would
go perfict on this card.
ratings:
constructed- 2/5 can make some interesting
ideas, but none that were really ever good
limited- 1/5 the two cards that you imprinted
