This card is a decent combat trick in limited,
but I don't think you would ever play it in
constructed. In limited, this card can easily
change which creature lives and which creature
dies in combat. This card is not exactly a
removal card, however, since a creature has to
be blocked before this card is likely to be
valuable. Frankly, I don't usually draft this
card and I often cut it from the final deck on
the unusual occasion that I do draft it. It can
be useful, though, in a pinch.

Schismotivate
Undoubtedly one of the best combat tricks any
red/blue deck could want. Most red/blue decks on
the tournament scene use bigger, more powerful
spells to win than just swinging with a
creature, so this hasn't really caught on yet.
But in Limited, if you have one of these, your
opponent can't realistically "win" any combat
phase. Schismotivate turns chump blocks into
foolish attacks, trades into wipeouts, an
unblocked ping into the finisher, and a melee
attack completely on its ear. The best part is
that your opponent (usually) doesn't know it's
coming (s/he may have guessed you were leaving
mana open for something, but most players would
expect a Convolute or Char instead).
