Not necessarily that good for Sliver decks. On
the plus side, Mindlash Sliver costs only one
mana. Okay, that's about all the good things I
can think of to say about this guy. A
sacrifice-to-force-discard Sliver sounds pretty
good, but Mindlash Sliver forces BOTH players to
discard a card, not so good, even if your deck
is designed to handle or even take advantage of
this drawback. In limited, it just doesn't make
sense to use this Sliver. In limited, you would
need to have some really powerful Slivers in
your deck so that you would want to add this
basically terrible card to it. In constructed,
this card's usefulness is even harder to find. I
guess I would have to say I hate this card.
Basically, it's the Sliver equivalent of
Delirium Skeins. While the Skeins is pretty
decent in Hellbent/Madness decks, I'm not sure
this Sliver has the same potential-- the only
Sliver you'll have worth sacrificing to this is
a Sliver about to die anyway, or this itself (a
puny 1/1). And how many Madness/Hellbent cards
will fit into a Sliver deck? Aren't most of your
cards Slivers? Finally consider that Black's
Slivers are in general weaker than other color's
Slivers, and this gets bad marks across the
board.
There's three good things that can be said about
Mindslash Sliver. First, it costs 1 mana.
Second, it can be used to trigger Madness.
Third, it can be a part of an Enduring Renewal
combo with Basal Sliver. Unfortunately the fun
stops there. Mindslash Sliver's effect does not
make your slivers better. It gives you a use for
them, but not a use that you're always going to
want to use. Most of the time he's just a
Metallic Sliver that doesn't die to Dark
Banishing. Sorry, Mindslash. You're just not
good.
This sliver elicits a giant yawn from me.
Probably the best thing going for it is that it
is a 1/1 sliver for 1. Sacrificing your slivers
is a good way to get nowhere in a sliver deck.
I've used it in limited to enable some Madness
effects while forcing a single discard from my
opponent. I guess there are worse things than
that. Stay away from Mr. Mindlash.

Casual: 3 (more players to make discard is
better, but makes more people mad at you)
