This card is very interesting. You can use it in
a burn heavy deck to try and rattle off a bunch
of damage. Or you can use it play an endless
supply of Relentless Rats. It's a fun card all
around. I'm just not sure where it fits in the
grand scheme of constructed play.
When Relentless rats rotates into Standard the
same time as this, it'll be the second best card
in Standard. Until then, it's a cute trick
longside heavy library manipulation and little
else.
Yes, yes. Everyone's got Thrumming Stones and
Relentless Rats. Let's talk about this card
without mentioning rodents, for once. Without
rodents, it's pretty bad. Ripple is pretty fun
when you've got six Surging Dementias in a
40-card deck. It's a lot less fun when you've
got 4 of something in a 60-card deck. Even if
you do have all your cards rippling. This thing
costs 5 and it's legendary. A lot of the time
legendary wouldn't matter for a global artifact,
but this time it actually kind of hurts.
Multiple Thrumming Stones would be worth a shot.
But just one? Nah.
