Six mana 6/6's are usually pretty good, and the
Incarnation cycle is no exception. While
Hostility isn't quite as strong as its brothers
Vigor or Guile, and it needs to be built around
unlike Dread, it's still a solid card. Haste
ensures your opponent will have to deal with it
very quickly, and the fact that it's a red
Elemental in a world of Incandescent Soulstokes,
Flamekin Harbingers, and.. uh... Caterwauling
Boggarts is just gravy.

Hostility
Hostility is probably my least favorite of the
greater elementals from Lorwyn; personally, I
never saw much use in turning direct damage
spells into token generation spells. On the
other hand, it is a big elemental with haste,
and usually hits pretty hard on that basis
(including with Pandemonium and/or Incandescent
Soulstoke). Most of the time, though, if I were
playing with Incarnations, I'd prefer Dread or
Purity in control decks and Vigor with
Incandescent Soulstoke.

Hostility
I think it's just so hard for any deck packing
burn to get the mana to play this out in
constructed. It's so hard that it won't see
widespread play. Instead, casual players will
want to get this out then make a lot of tokens.
In limited, it's just a big creature that can
turn Tarfire into two 3/1s.

Lol, that is one big birdie there. Hostility is
an interesting elemental that has the words one
should never find on a Red card: "Prevent". This
card is one beefy incarnation that works
excellently with Smokebraider to get it swinging
fast. If one uses one of any numerous burn
spells, you get a wicked clock on the opponent
in the form of hasty 3/1 Elementals. Incinerate?
9 damage on the board. Beacon of Destruction? A
freakishly scary 15 potential points. The list
goes on. Hostility is best used in fun decks
IMO, a real Johnny creature to be sure.
