I've never been impressed with this card. Some
days I think I'd play it in White Weenie, but
he's too slow. Other times I think I might want
to play it in control decks, but he's not big
enough. This is a card that's decent in a few
ways, but great in none. But, in limited, this
card has solid potential in so many ways.

It looks like a perfect fit for B/W Rebel decks,
but Amrou Scout and Blightspeaker can't fetch
it: it costs one too much. Defiant Vanguard can
fetch it though, but how many Rebel decks bother
to run that? If Ballista Squad hasn't found its
way into the Rebel build, neither will this.
Despite that, it makes a very good blocker and
of course there's the popular Pariah combo.

Cho-Manno,
Revolutionary
To be honest, I've never been a fan of Cho-Manno.
He simply doesn't do enough for my liking. He
never dies to damage, true - but that doesn't
matter quite so much when so many spells just
kill him directly. Back when he was new, there
was Hand of Death, Seal of Doom, Snuff Out, and
Wrath of God. Now we have Terror, Last Gasp,
Cruel Edict, and . . . Wrath of God. Don't let
me put you off too much, though. I've seen Cho-Manno
plus Pariah lock out casual games, and I've also
seen him demolish red decks in sealed play all
by himself. But in Standard, just play Calciderm.

Cho-Manno Revolutionary:
Not a bad card at all. Best in limited. The
ultimate chumpblocker, and even immune to red
style removal. However, it's still just a mostly
impervious wall for 4 mana... which only goes so
far. If this had some sort of evasion, it might
be played for a hard to kill attacker.
