Even since Onslaught, Goblins have been willing
to sacrifice themselves and others. They still
do. This could easily become the one-drop of
choice for Goblin decks, barely edging out
Facevaulter and Goblin Grappler.

A much cheaper Moriok Rigger for Goblins. You do
need a way to sacrifice your Goblins, though.
There aren't as many good ways to do that in
Lorwyn as there were in Onslaught, but there are
still a few (Tar Pitcher, Fodder Launch,
Siege-Gang, etc.). If Goblins becomes a top
deck, I expect this to be an important component
of it, but I don't see them being the monsters
they were a few years ago.
In limited, not bad if you have a few ways to
sac your Goblins. Even as a 2/2 for 1 this would
be OK.

They printed this in the same Standard format as
Mogg Fanatic and Mogg War Marshal (and Greater
Gargadon)? Were they crazy? Maybe crazy about
making the tools for a good goblin deck. Just be
glad it only counts cards put into a graveyard
from play (note: that includes enchantments!).
Get yourself some Boggart recursion cards and go
nuts. Trust me, you'll enjoy it.

I really don't think this card has much
potential. It will take too much sacrifice to
get this guy big unless you are throwing goblin
bombs (the newer version) at your opponents head
and sacking a lot of goblins for effects. I just
don't think most goblin decks will include this
as a 1 drop over others. If it had evasion...it
would be a different story. But it does not.

I have a feeling this card will be insanely
powerful in the near future. When an aggro deck
is combined with something that can grow
extremely large quickly, then it should win
rather quickly.
This with Mogg War Marshall can pump this but to
a really big number single-handedly. The
extended Goblins can make this thing even more
ridiculous. It can reach 5/5 easily within the
first few turns. Although they would have to put
in some black mana source, it's probably worth
it as this gives the deck some more power even
in late game.
I would pick up 4 copies of this right away.
In limited, it's ok if you have a lot of
Goblins, but extremely weak otherwise.

Thursday's card
is Knucklebone Witch. A cheap black goblin that
gets better as more goblins go in the graveyard,
this card loves anything that sacrifices
goblins. It gets bigger as goblins hit the
graveyard, so you can run Mogg War Marshall and
give it a +1/+1 when it dies and net more goblin
tokens. Other than getting really big over time
and being immune to most black creature kill,
Knucklebone Witch doesn't really do much else.
She's useful if you end up with a lot of goblins
in limited, but she needs something to keep her
alive to make the best out of her.
Limited:2/5(she might as well be a vanilla
creature if you end up running few goblins)
Constructed:3/5(she likes things like Seige-Gang
Commander and Mogg War Marshall)
