It's a potentially reusable Blaze for one more
mana. And any deck that can pump mana into X is
probably packing enough high-end goodies to win
a few Clashes, right?

Titan's Revenge
Just when you thought there was absolutely
nothing left to do with an X spell, along comes
something quite unusual and quite interesting.
Those who have run the statistics tell me that
you're not that likely to win any given clash,
but I think in reality it's like Demonfire's
hellbent ability: a neat extra for an already
solid spell. You could try it in an established
archetype like green-red midrange which has a
fairly high curve anyway and thus an inbuilt
higher chance of winning clashes, or make
something based on stacking the top of your
library with cards like Elvish Harbinger and
Foresee.

Titan's Revenge
If you can successfully clash this once you will
likely win because 20 life isn't so hot after
being Fireball'd twice (which is kind of
ironic). However, I doubt in constructed this
anyone will fire this is a sufficient amount to
make a huge difference so this card ends up not
being so hot after all (which is kind of
ironic).
In casual, some person will use this to try to
repeatedly deal 20 damage.
In limited, this is reusable removal that kills
pretty much anything.

Thursday's card
is Titan's Revenge. For two red mana and X more,
you can deal x damage to target creature or
player, plus the clash effect should you win
will allow you to bring it back for more
punishment. This is a definitely nice finisher
for burn, a reusable Fireball type spell if you
can get the clash effect. Clash is always nice
because you always know what you are going to
get next. Big spells like this love things like
Cloudpost and Urzatron and this loves big spells
like Giants for the clash.

Titan’s Revenge
In constructed, this card doesn’t seem to cut
it. Red/green Mana Ramp is the only deck that
could really put this card to use, and Bogardan
Hellkite would probably be better anyway. In
limited, this card is amazing. Whether as a big
finisher or removal, this card is great.
