You just don't know how
many different things this thing can do until
you have one in your hand. It can kill an
incoming attacker, kill a blocker and push
through trample damage, turn off tribal
interactions (unless you're playing casual
against Seshiro.dec), and so much else.
I've use it to "counter" my opponent's
Mirrorweave-- he wanted to send an army of
enormous islandwalking Lords of Atlantis at me,
but ended up with more like an army of Merfolk
of the Pearl Trident.
And you draw a card.

Tuesday - Snakeform
A "removal" spell for blue/green, and very
in-flavor. This is very reminiscent of Cytoshape
from Dissension, except it's better and doesn't
require two colors. The most basic and obvious
use of this is to Snakeform their attacker and
block it to kill it. However, there's so much
more. This also turns off all their abilities,
and forces them to become a snake. This is big
in a world where tribal matters. It also even
cantrips. One of the best commons in the set.
In limited, it's great here too for the same
reasons.

Ever taken out a Demigod of Revenge with a
Selkie Hedge-Mage? If not, then maybe you should
play with Snakeform more often. It's the closest
thing to an actual removal spell that green or
blue will probably ever get, and surprisingly
often, people don't see it coming. There's not a
lot of room in constructed decks for it right
now, but it's a top-notch, game-winning card in
any limited event, and the perfect card to have
around if your friends still insist on playing
Reanimate and Life/Death.

Snakeform
Constructed: Great card for combat
tricks. What to kill the Chameleon Colossus with
your 1/1 elf, than go for it. Any creature that
you can target or does not have pro green or
blue is far game. It's one of the best commons
from Eventide, yesterdays card is also just as
good.
Casual: Any green or blue or
combination of both colors that's a fun deck
should use this card.
Limited: Top pick for a common.
Between it and yesterday's COD it would be a
hard call. It would determine what color I was
set in or it will determine which colors I will
go with.
Overall a great card. I notice they made this and
Unmake 3 casting cost, which keeps them off the
Isochron Scepter. Do forget it let's you draw a
card and drawing a card is good.
