This is arguably the weakest planeswalker in the
set, but that doesn't make it a bad card. It
actually does see some play as a 1-of in the
Fellowship of the Ring decks that have started
to pop up as of late. The first ability is not
bad, but when you compare it to a card like
Garruk, it looks awfully weak. The second
ability is pretty useful, especially if you use
it to pump a token put out by Garruk. The last
ability isn't really worth it, but if you're in
a tight spot it might be able to help you pull
out a win. If you're playing the planeswalker
deck, I'd play a copy or two, but outside of
that I wouldn't bother.
In limited, it makes creatures and pumps them.
Play it if you're white, as repeatable creatures
are always good.

Elspeth, Knight-Errant
Elspeth looks like one of the planeswalkers with
the least immediate impact on the game - until
you read her abilities the second time. Then you
notice that not only does she bring defenders
for both for herself and for you, and make an
average Grizzly Bear into a four-turn clock, she
puts herself out of burn range in the process of
doing both. I can almost guarantee there'll
never be another planeswalker as loyal as her.
Play her early, play her often.

Some like this card, some don't like it as much.
I am in the former camp since pumping out 1/1
tokens every turn for a +1 loyalty means this
card reaches its ultimate ability easier than
the other planeswalkers. Garruk pumps out 3/3
tokens, but can't do so every turn for more than
3 turns, so Elspeth has a niche in control
decks. The ultimate ability isn't very useful,
but the tokens and the +3/+3 with flying second
ability ends the game very quickly. I have never
been sad to draw this because it is almost
always useful. This is also guaranteed included
in any planeswalker control deck because it is
that good.

Constructed:
This planeswalker babe should see alot more
play. She has three great abilities. Putting a
creature into play to add a counter and than
next turn if it is still alive give it flying
and +3/+3 is also great for its price tag. The
only reason I see her not being play much is the
double white. There is one other card that will
always take that spot.
Casual:
All planeswalkers should be played at the casual
level.
Limited:
She goes high on my pick list. She has that
quiet threat level. It is just a 1/1 little
Soldier. What's the harm. hehehehe. Good thing
she is Mythic.
Overall a great Planeswalker.

Very very good card. Last I saw it was going for
$30US each (which right now is about $43AU for
me....)
Having 2 options that add counters is good, and
being able to essentially fog every turn while
building up counters is very nice. Being able to
giant growth a creature AND give it flying is
also pretty good. Also worth noting is that when
you use her ultimate ability it will affect
everything, even things that come into play
after the effect.
I'm surprised that more deck aren't running this
at the moment. In limited this is an absolute
bomb. I've had this played against me more than
once...not good.
