Very situational. At best, this is sideboard
fodder against monoblue counter decks. But in
that one situation, it's pretty good. Free 4/4's
will hurt a control player.

Friday - Eyes of the Wisent
A handy sideboard card in a blue-heavy metagame.
This gives you free big creatures if they try to
counter your stuff, and itself comes down before
they can have counter mana ready. However,
that's about all this card is good for. If you
know you're playing in a tournament where blue
is going to be highly popular, put 3-4 copies in
your sideboard. Otherwise, you can run 2 copies,
or just not bother at all. I would never
maindeck this, as it's way too situational.
An oft-cited argument against Eyes of the Wisent
suggests something along the lines of a
permission opponent realizing its devastating
effect as soon as he reads it, and switching to
a more aggressive, tap-out-on-my-turn style. But
isn't that worth it by itself? If your opponent
fears a card enough to change his playing style
because of it, that is surely worth sitting up
and taking note of. Just about the only blue
instant the Eyes aren't good against is Venser,
and even then it forces the opponent's hand in
their choice of what to bounce. If you play
green, I'd suggest keeping three or four of
these around for your sideboard.

Eyes of the
Wisent
It looks like a sideboard card, but it really
only helps against Sonic Boom which really isn't
popular at the moment. In fact, it doesn't do a
lot in the sideboard right now, and it can only
be sided in a very restricted number of decks
make this just bad.
In limited, I doubt this will be of any use.

Friday's card
is Eyes of the Wisent. This Tribal Elemental
enchantment allows you to put a 4/4 green
elemental whenever your oppnent plays a blue
spell. This gives you big creature tokens to use
against a blue user, and should he try to
Boomerang a token, it is replaced by another.
This is a pretty good blue hoser, but if you're
facing a blue deck, forget it.
