Well, a 3/1 with flash and flying for only three
mana is pretty powerful. But what about that
ability? It's not really hand disruption, since
your opponent can draw a card to replace
whatever you knock out of their hand, but it
does at least let you see their hand and maybe
break up a combo they were going for (or maybe
not) or deny them whatever combat trick you
think they may have (or maybe not). The high
power and flash suggests that this is best used
during combat, as a surprise blocker and
psuedo-counterspell for whatever combat trick
you suspect of them, or as an EOT surprise smack
in the face for 3.

Remember Venarian Glimmer from Planar Chaos? No,
of course you don't. I was the only one who ever
liked that card, I think. Apparently the Duress
ability still hasn't left blue entirely even now
that the time stream has been put back together;
like Venarian Glimmer, there's a drawback of
sorts. I think the Vendilion Clique might
actually be playable, to be honest, simply
because they're a three-power creature with
flying and flash. The pseudo-Duress is almost
gravy, but statistically it should work out in
your favor half the time or thereabouts, and
even more often in limited (less consistent
decks).

3/1 flashy flier for 3 mana isn't bad, but you
also get to see the opponent's hand and disrupt
it a bit. Opponent goes get to draw a card but
trading a good card for almost always a worse
card is still good, and it's pretty overpowered
it the opponent doesn't draw a card.
In limited, fliers are always good, and stealing
bombs is too. The 1 toughness makes it killable
by almost anything though.

Thursday's card
is Vendillion Clique. For three mana, you get a
3/1 with Flash and Flying, plus the ability to
choose a card from the opponent's hand and put
it on the bottom, then they draw a card. The
only real downsides to this card are the card
drawing for the effect and the fact it is a
Legendary creature so you may not want to run
more than two or even one. It can work for
Faerie or Wizard tribal perhaps, maybe even a
Blue deck.
