It's basically an alpha strike
card-- swing for the team, then play this before
blockers are declared. At six mana, it
doesn't come down until you're ready to alpha
strike. Cards like this don't do all that
much, but they're good at what they do.

It looks awfully expensive, but you're paying
for the surprise factor as much as anything
else. You don't often need an effect like this
except in limited, and if you do, Cryptic
Command has a similar ability and is probably
better at it. When it works, it wins games, but
it's pretty narrow.

Thoughtweft Gambit:
Constructed: Very expensive for what it does. If
it was cheaper it would be a great card, but
they new not to make it very cheap.
Casual: Fun card in multiplayer. Do it at the
end of the person that is next to you, before
your turn.
Limited: This is a great card to turn the game
around. If there is a stall with alot of
creatures on both sides and you need a way to
get threw, this will do it. Top pick for blue or
white draft. Sealed deck the same way.
Overall a good card with a high cost. But any
cheaper it would probably been broken somehow.
